I’ve been working in IT for a fair while now, from programming through systems administration to 3rd level research. All this time, I’ve resisted the “web” side to the internet, focusing on data transfer, not the social and graphical sides. I suppose you could say I’ve moved from monochrome to colour, that’s certainly what it feels like.
So, lately, and mainly at the coffee-fuelled urging of Joe (joescanlon.net) I’ve taken to using Twitter, publicising my Flickr account, and heaven help me, networking socially.
