We went for a look at the nearly finished Sky Garden in Fitzgerald park this weekend. It’s looking good, and I think it’ll turn out very well.

Patrick Street hosted a food market this Saturday (and hosts more events all weekend, up to the St. Patricks day parade)

The regular street market in Cornmarket street was on.

Grand Parade hosted the “Feed the City” event, with 5000 free vegetarian curries handed out. There were also stalls on growing your own food, and composting, as well as cooking demonstrations.

It’s brilliant to see the new pavements and streets of Cork City used for events like this. Well done to Cork City Council and all involved.
