Baile Pale Ale

Friday, July 19th, 2013

I paid a flying visit to Bradleys this week to get a bottle of the latest craft beer to arrive on the scene. It’s another pale ale, but don’t let that put you off, it’s very nice indeed.

Michael just announced that he has a new one from from Donegal brewers @MuckishBrewery – Miner’s Red Ale. If it’s as good as Kinnegar’s stuff, it’ll be very good indeed. There are some great beers coming out of Donegal lately. It’s going straight to the top of the list of my beers to try.

Monday, January 28th, 2013

Bradleys got in some american craft beers last week, and I picked up a selection to try over the weekend.
American craft beers

2 are from Red Hook in Seattle. Both nice beers.
The other two were stouts, and were very good.
The Pitch Black IPA from Widmer Brothers in Oregon was smooth and had a nice bite to it.

The star of the selection was Pipeline Porter from Kona Brewing Co. in Hawaii! It’s brewed with a healthy amount of Kona coffee, and makes for a super smooth coffee flavoured stout.

I’ll be going back for more!
