I finally got out for my first sail of the year, on my fathers boat.
Julia, the Cork/Swansea ferry passed us in Cobh Roads.

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010I went out on my friends yacht today to join the clippers on their journey up river from outside Cork Harbour.
We met the clippers a couple of miles off Roches Point and followed them all the way upriver.
The first landmark – Roches Point lighthouse. Clippers Cork and Jamaica passing Roches point:
Some milling around outside Sipke Island followed as the clippers were too early to head upriver.
